I'll stamp all over 'legitimate combatant' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be streamed live on Netflix.

British boxer Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the two fighters came face-to-face to publicize next month's bout.

Former two time unified boxing king Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's venue on 19 December.

Boxer's Attitude

"I plan to injure his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," Joshua, 35, declared.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.

"I will seriously aim to injure him. That's my goal."

Respectful Interaction

In spite of these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - normally recognized for his showmanship - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.

Jake Paul rather criticized ex Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian rejected a fight offer.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, at the same time, targeted British opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.

"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Opponent

Despite declaring he will damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his rival's boxing ability.

"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.

Paul's History

Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.

He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.

Financial Attraction

Still, the novice is still one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, frequently receiving huge earnings.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28 year old predicted a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would derail the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently in the works for 2026.

"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul said.

Size Disparity

As both boxers participated in the usual confrontation, with their height and weight contrast on show, it highlighted just how improbable this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the match is really happening.
